As a trainee, you will work full-time in a professional project environment while completing theBSB50820 Diploma of Project Management– fully funded by Aimpoint.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in planning, problem solving, communication, and leadership, looking to enter a high-demand role in theDefence, construction, or government sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist project teams with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk tracking
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, and stakeholder communications
- Support procurement, resource coordination, and quality management activities
- Contribute to progress monitoring and issue resolution
- Learn to apply project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK or Agile) in live projects
- Complete all structured assessments and workplace learning tasks as part of the Diploma program
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- An interest in project coordination, Defence programs, or team leadership
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills and reliability
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Australian Citizenship (required for Defence clearance eligibility)
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Must not already hold a Diploma of Project Management
- Must be committed to completing both practical and academic training components
