how it works

How the process works?

Express interest
Contact Aimpoint to discuss your workforce needs and confirm your suitability as a host employer. We outline requirements and next steps to ensure the partnership is the right fit.
Candidate Match & Orientation

Aimpoint identifies suitable apprentice or trainee candidates, completes screening, and provides an orientation so they understand your expectations, safety requirements, and the nature of the role.

Hosting/Work Placement

Aimpoint conducts an initial safety check and confirms the workplace is safe and appropriate. We work with you to develop and agree on the training plan, covering the formal qualification and on-the-job competencies. You provide daily supervision and mentoring, while Aimpoint manages compliance, documentation, and regular communication.

Ongoing Support & Reviews

Aimpoint maintains regular contact through check-ins and workplace visits, monitors training progress, and assists with any issues to ensure the placement stays on track.

Completion or Transition

At the end of the program, Aimpoint finalises competencies, completes required documentation, and supports you to either retain the apprentice or close out the placement smoothly.

what our learners say

Be one of Aimpoint graduates

“The ease of which I could provide documents and evidence for my RPL request. It was simple and straight forward. I requested RPL for two diplomas – things that I have been doing during my day-to-day for many years during and since leaving Defence. Aimpoint was able to legitimise my experience and knowledge by providing the qualification and recognition of my skills. I would happily recommend Aimpoint to others, veterans or non-veterans.”
